4 days left of hot hot hot summer

Oh mann fall is coming and it's coming fast. You see every retailer displaying their fall merchandise. So exciting the shades of burgundies, browns, black and grays. But before the leaves start to fall, I would like to remember my summer days. Just kick back and try to get as much tanning done before it's to cold to lay on the grass.

Sunday the 29th of August (can you believe Sept is almost here along with fashion night out?) Fiona and I went free kayaking down at the downtown boathouse pier40. Last summer, I volunteer there. Which explains my tan arms. Kayaking is an intense sport that to many people are afraid of trying out. Here are some of the pictures, you can check more of them out in the link here. Thrifting experience 1

I realized i havent uploaded pics or a blog for the longest time. So this is a multiple session of blogs in one day..

Where to start? Well on February 27th, me and my friends (Katlin and Luey) went on a thrifting adventure in Housing Work Ware House. There were so many pile of clothes since it was their warehouse. At first we were were baffled as to what we were suppose to do. Never had we seen so many people, rummaging in clothes and stuffing it in black plastic bags. After 15 minutes of uncertainty, we loosed up and dug right into the pile of clothes. We found a lot of designer stuff, vintage items and etc.

Break down of the event was, basically stuff what ever you can into a brown bag for $20! YES 20 DOLLARS!

Happy survivors. The two bags on the left are mine.

Strategy:
1. Find a big bag / bring your own big bag.
2. (wearing gloves) JUMP INTO THE PILE OF CLOTHES AND DIGGGG
3. Stuff into big bag
4. After digging & stuffing, sort out the items you like.
5. Perfect fold everything down.
6. Stuff into the paper bag.
7. Walk out happily.
